Subfamily Metrodorinae View in CoL
Discussion. Gorochovitettix can be rightly placed under the subfamily Metrodorinae since it possesses the main diagnostic characters of the subfamily: pronotal lateral lobe that is directed outwards and obliquely truncated and with basitarsus and third segment of hind tarsus subequal in length ( Storozhenko & Pushkar, 2015). This is in spite of the fact that Gorochovitettix also resembles representatives from the subfamily Cladonotinae by frontal ridge (or scutellum) distinctively broader than scapus. Adding this genus to the current phylogeny of Tetrigidae could help to confirm the subfamily status of this newly-erected genus.
