Balocha pallida Maldonado-Capriles View in CoL
Figsn 7A–H.
Balocha pallida Maldonado-Capriles 1961: 304–305 View in CoL , figs 3, 9–13; Khatri & Webb 2014: 284 View Cited Treatment , figs 6a–f.
Diagnosis. Pale yellow with orange tinge at some places, one round spot in third apical cell and base of appendix dark brown. Pygofer with rounded projection pointing mesoventrad near base. Aedeagus with posterior process 0.72× as long as anterior lobe.
Remarks. No specimens of this species were examined except for images of the male and female paratypes in BMNH ( Figs 7A–H View FIGURES 7 ). Female sternite VII is almost twice as wide as long medially with posterior margin medially slightly concave. Maldonado-Capriles (1961) adequately described and illustrated this species based on male and female specimens collected from Lahore, Pakistan. Khatri & Webb (2014) reproduced the male genitalia figures provided by Maldonado-Capriles (1961). This species is very similar to B. fuscolinea except for the forewing fuscous stripe and differences in the male genitalia.
