Distribution and Comments. Mexico, Brazil and Argentina ( World Spider Catalog, 2020). In Mexico, the exact locality of this species is unknown ( Logunov, 2014), and for this reason it is not included in the map ( Figure 19 ), but this record represents the northernmost known locality for L. leucomelas . It is of interest that this is the only known record of this species from northern Central America, and this could be an error in the labeling of the specimen.
