Holotype male in CMNC.
Type locality: 11 km SE San Lorenzo, La Chiquita, 5 m, Esmeraldas Province, Ecuador.
Distribution: Ecuador: Cotopaxi and Esmeraldas Provinces ; Panama: Canal Zone and Panamá Province.
= E. equatorianum View in CoL [sic] Salgado, 2004: 2 (in key), 11 – 12 (figs.) (unavailable name, no indication of types or type depository as required by ICZN, 1999: Art. 16.4).
Note: Salgado (2008a: 48) considered his 2004 description to be a nomem nudum.
