Amasha decepta Medler, 1992: 25 View in CoL . Holotype, male, Doi Suthep, N.W. Chiangmai Prov., Thailand, 1278m, 29.iii– 4.v.1958, T.C. Maa (BPBM)
The species was not examined by author, the following description is from Medler (1992).
Anterior margin of vertex convex, angled at 135° ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ); frons oval, dorsal margin thickened, U-shaped carina indicated weakly ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ). Tegmen postclaval sutural margin extended from apex of clavus at angle of 175°, meeting apical margin at angle of 95° ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ); margin normally red or red orange, black spots absent, or if present, then restricted to postclaval sutural margin; well developed submarginal line of crossveins, submarginal area narrow, 0.5 mm wide. Holotype genitalia illustrated ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ). Allotype valvulae III with single row of six strong teeth closely inserted along ventral margin.
Distribution: Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam.
