Baeocera inexpectata Loebl & Stephan, 1993
Note.
See Löbl and Stephan (1993) for illustrations and identification. Initially described only from Saskatchewan ( Löbl and Stephan 1993), this species was recently found in New Brunswick by Webster et al. (2012e), greatly extending its range eastward. The authors suggested that it was likely to be found in the intervening territories, and this is supported by the new record from Quebec. This small species is a member of the congener group of species and can be easily identified by the shape and the structures of the male genitalia, with each paramere bearing a medial membranous lobe.
