Mentioned for the state in some reference works without any reference to specific records ( Sick, 1985, 1997; Schuchmann, 1999). Alagoas is the only state within the PCE that has no documented records for this species. There are records in nearby Pernambuco, less than 20 km distant from Alagoas, in habitats that are widely available in the state, so we consider that it may be just a matter of time for a record to be produced in the state.
