Neotype (Monod de Froideville in Blumea 19: 59. 1971): Herb. Linn. No. 1212.15 ( LINN; iso- BM) .

Current name: Centotheca latifolia (Osbeck) Trin. View in CoL ( Poaceae ).

Note: The material treated as the type by Monod de Froideville is unannotated by Linnaeus and there is no clear link with this binomial. However, in the absence of any relevant original material, the collection is accepted as a neotype (Art. 9.8). Fragmentary material in BM (sheet 000592761), annotated by J.E. Smith as derived from LINN, is a probable iso-neotype.
