Diagnosis. The forewing length is 17–18 mm in males and 17.5–18.5 mm in females. The detailed comparison with M. hokopo sp. n. is provided above in the diagnosis of the new species.
Distribution. Known from China (Sichuan, Shaanxi, Henan, Shangdong, Anhui, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan and Hainan) ( Leech 1890; Fang 2000) and northern Vietnam (Lào Cai Province). The record from ‘Indochina” ( Candèze 1927) most probably belongs to northern Vietnam.
