Ö: polylektisch, univoltin, nistet überwiegend unterirdisch, Ubiquist ( WESTRICH 1989).
V: Die Dunkle Erdhummel ist in Tirol in Tallagen häufig und verbreitet (NEUMAYER & KOFLER 2005).
