Key to the Paraphloeostiba species of Taiwan

1 Forebody distinctly convex. Anteocellar foveae short, straight. Longitudinal impressions of pronotum indistinct. Apical part of aedeagus narrow (Figs. 13, 17). Female genital segment as in Fig. 5 . Spermatheca as in Fig. 6 . Body red-brown to brown. Body length: 2.15–2.49....................................................................... P. formosana sp. n.

- Forebody flattened. Anteocellar foveae long, curved. Longitudinal impressions of pronotum well defined. Apical part of aedegus wide ( Fig. 21, 24 ). Female genital segment as in Fig. 11 . Spermatheca as in Fig. 12 . Body brown to dark brown. Body length: 2.10–2.30................................................................ P. sonani ( Bernhauer, 1943)
