Japan (Pacific Ocean).

Distribution.

Japan, Australia ( San Martín and Hutchings 2006), Mediterranean Sea: WB, AS, LB ( Abd-Elnaby and San Martín 2010). New record for the Aegean Sea.

Habitat.

Shallow subtidal depths, in sandy and muddy sediments, on rocks with algal cover, among Posidonia oceanica rhizomes.
