Type locality.
Cibao region, Dominican Republic; stratum: uncertain [likely either Cercado or Gurabo Formations]; age: Miocene/Pliocene.
Type material.
Syntype, ANSP IP3181 (as “type” in Pilsbry 1922: 310, pl. 23, fig. 12; Richards 1968: 167).
Remarks.
Type species of genus Actaeonidea Gabb, 1872, by monotypy.
