Notes.
Gasteruption sinepunctatum Zhao, van Achterberg & Xu, 2012, is a large (about 15 mm body length or more) species described from C. China (Zhejiang) with paratypes from Taiwan, Jilin and Tibet. A large (13 mm body length) male from Taiwan has been associated with this species ( Zhao et al. 2012). Recent collections in Daba and Qinling Mts shows that, in Shaanxi, there is a species with large males recognisable by the relatively long fourth antennal segment (2.7-3.1 × as long as third segment (Fig. 296 View Figures 292–298 ); 3.5 × in paratype from Taiwan) and the distinctly protruding middle lobe of the mesoscutum (Figs 292 View Figures 292–298 and 293 View Figures 292–298 ). Both characters (together with the superficial and very fine sculpture of the mesoscutum) connects it with Gasteruption sinepunctatum , a species of which the female was reported from Shaanxi by Tan et al. (2016); the male is illustrated here to allow a better recognition.
