Female. Length 5 1/4 lines.-The head, thorax and legs black, the abdomen ferruginous; the scape in front, the apex of the antennse, the anterior margin of the face, the mandibles, the anterior tibiae and tarsi, the intermediate tibiae in front, as well as the apex of the femora in front, rufo-testaceous; the articulations of the legs pale; the head and thorax covered with a fine silky pile; the first node of the petiole subglobose, the second node rounded and narrowed to its base; the abdomen covered with a pale golden pile, bright and glittering in certain lights.
