Notes. This species is correctly placed in the genus Pachylaelaps View in CoL , but the description does not include information about setae J5 and the insemination apparatus. We are therefore unable to place it in either the subgenus Longipachylaelaps View in CoL or Pachylaelaps View in CoL s. str.
