Cephennodes longipes View in CoL species group
Species belonging in this group have a stout and convex body, with the pronotum narrower than the elytra, the antennae and legs typically very (sometimes strikingly) long, the elytra in males usually flattened around suture near apex or with apical impressions, and the head and pronotum in all species are densely punctate. Elytra usually with basic vestiture of moderately dense suberect setae and sparsely distributed, often present only in posterior half, long and erect setae. The aedeagus is similar to the latus form.
