Type species: Papuoneanias lobatus ( Brunner v.W., 1888)

Discussion. This monotypic genus is close to Papuogryllacris and so far only known from a male. The main morphological differences are the strongly abbreviated wings. The male abdominal appendages agree with those in Papuogryllacris .
