Material examined. Syntype (male): India: Mission Madure , 1 male (type) (Paris MNHN) .

Diagnosis. The male of this species is characterized by the ninth abdominal tergite, which is divided at apex and carries at both sides of divided area a rather small/narrow upcurved hook ( Fig. 6G View FIGURE 6 ). The subgenital plate has the apical margin between the bases of the styli prolonged into an oval projection reaching tips of styli and is then down-curved in a 90°-angle towards subacute tip ( Figs. 6 View FIGURE 6 G–I).
