Distinguished from Dolerus asper ZADDACH, 1859 by HEIDEMAA et al. (2004), but still very under-recorded in Germany. The only published record is from Bavaria ( LISTON 2011 ). The following specimens from other German provinces were examined : Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: 1 ♀, Landkreis Vorpommern-Rügen, Prerow , 04.05.1988, leg. Wrase, det. M. Heidemaa. Sachsen: 1 ♂, Leipzig , 22.03.1896, leg. Krieger, det. M. Heidemaa. Sachsen-Anhalt: 1 ♀, Dessau, Beckerbruch , 22.04.1975, leg. A. Taeger, det. M. Heidemaa. Thüringen: 1 ♀, Oberhof, Veilchenbrunnen , 26.05. 1989, leg. A. Taeger, det. M. Heidemaa.
