Type locality. England (“Habitat in Anglia ”).

Material examined. None.

Identity. Acleris emargana (Fabricius) ( Tortricinae , Tortricini ).

Remarks. There are two syntypes of Pyralis caudana Fabricius in HMUG. They are a form of A. emargana with indistinct markings and ochreous-grey ground colour ( Karsholt et al. 2005).
