Type locality. England (“Habitat in Anglia. Mus. Do. Yeats”).

Material examined. None.

Identity. Archips xylosteana ( Linnaeus, 1758) ( Tortricinae , Archipini ).

Remarks. This is a junior synonym of Archips xylosteana (Linnaeus) ( Werneburg 1864) that has remained stable in the literature (e.g., Brown 2005).
