Type locality. England (“Habitat in Anglia ”).

Material examined. None.

Identity. Acleris emargana (Fabricius) ( Obraztsov 1956) .

Remarks. The holotype of Pyralis emargana Fabricius is in HMUG. The complex history surrounding the identity and synonymy of this species ( Obraztsov 1956) was recently reviewed by Karsholt et al. (2005).
