Material examined. None.
Identity. Pammene aurana (Fabricius) ( Olethreutinae , Grapholitini ).
Remarks. This name is an unjustified emendation of Tinea fulvella Fabricius, 1787: 317 . The original spelling of the species is fuluana . The specific name has been traditionally cited as fulvana Fabricius (e.g., Brown 2005).
