Type locality. France (“Habitat in Galliae Vite folia destruens Mus. D. Bosc”). Material examined. None.
Identity. Sparganothis pilleriana ( Denis and Schiffermüller, 1775) ( Tortricinae , Sparganothini ). Remarks. This name is perhaps an unjustified emendation of Pyralis vitis Dantic, 1786 .
