Type locality. England (“Habitat in Anglia Quercu. Mus. Dom. Yeats”).

Material examined. None.

Identity. Acleris kochiella (Goeze, 1783) ( Tortricinae , Tortricini ).

Remarks. This taxon is a secondary homonym of Acleris scabrana ( Denis and Schiffermüller, 1775) . The holotype of Pyralis scabrana Fabricius is in HMUG. It was examined by David Agassiz and Kevin Tuck who concluded that it is conspecific with Acleris kochiella . Details of its identity are given by Karsholt et al. (2005).
