Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia , Nigeria, Réunion,
Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Lusaka [Latitude -15.35993; Longitude 28.4456], Kafue and Chilanga, in Lusaka Province; Kabompo, in
Northwestern Province; Petauke and Chipata, in Eastern Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Host plants of the taxon include: one Rhamnaceae species ( Ziziphus mauritiana Lam. ), one Bignoniaceae species ( Spathodea campanulate P.Beauv. ) and one Poaceae species ( Stenotaphrum sp. ) in the Réunion and one Bignoniaceae species ( Tecoma sp. ) in Mauritius. The African Moths (2019) lists the following as larval foodplants of the taxon; Seven Bignoniaceae species (i.e. Tecoma stans (L.) Juss. ex Kunth,
Kigelia africana (Lam.) Benth. , K. africana subsp moosa (Sprague) Bidgood & Verdc., Markhamia platycalyx , Stereospermum sp. , Spathodea nilotica Seem. and Tabebuia pallida (Lindl.) Miers ), one
Malvaceae species ( Gossypium sp. ) and one Euphorbiaceae species ( Ricinus communis L.).
