DISTRIBUTION: Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia , South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Livingstone, in Southern Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): one Lecythidaceae , species, Barringtonia asiatica (L.) Kurz; one Celastraceae species, Celastrus sp. ; one Lythraceae species, Lagerstroemia indica L.; one Ochnaceae , Ochna sp. ; four Rosaceae , Malus pumila Mill. , Prunus armeniaca L., Prunus domestica L., and Prunus persica (L.) Batsch; one Euphorbiaceae species, Ricinus sp. ; one Sapotaceaespecies, Sideroxylon diospyroides Baker ; two Myrtaceae species Syzygium cumini (L.) Skeels and Eucalyptus sp. ; one Fabaceae , Acacia sp. ; one Sapindaceae species Acer sp. [Maple]; one Theaceae species, Camellia sp. ; One Celastraceae species, Putterlickia verrucose (E. Mey. ex Sond.) Szyszył. and one yet to be identified Fagaceae species, Quercus sp.
