COMMON NAME (S): Eggar, Snout moth (although this also refers to the Pyralidae ) or Lappet moth.
SYNONYM(S): None.
IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).
DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Mumbwa and Kabwe, in Central Province ; Mansa, in Luapula Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include three Combretaceae species, namely: Terminalia glaucescens Planch. ex Benth. , T. mantaly H.Perrier and Combretum racemosum P.Beauv.
