COMMON NAME (S): Red turntail. SYNONYM(S): Penicillaria pyrospila Mabille, 1893 . IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE). DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda,
Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe. LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: ‘Lusaka’, in Lusaka Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Pinhey (1975) names a yet to be identified Citrus sp. (Rutaceae) as a host plant of the taxon, while in addition to this, Afzelia quanzensis (Fabaceae) is named Larval foodplant of the taxon ( African Moths
