DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia , Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: ‘Lusaka’, in Lusaka Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Pinhey (1975) reports yet to be identified Caesalpiniaceae specles (i.e. Brachystegia sp. ) and Fabaceae species (i.e. Baikiaea sp. ) as host plants of the taxon, while the African Moths (2019) webpage additionally names Brachystegia spiciformis Benth. (Fabaceae) and Citrus sp. (Rutaceae) , as larval foodplants of the taxon.
