DISTRIBUTION: Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia , Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Togo, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Ikelenge and Solwezi, in Northwestern Province ; Mkushi, in Central Province.

LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include one legume, pea, or bean family ( Fabaceae ) species namely, Acacia karroo ( African Moths 2019) .
