Radix lignosa, exserens caules plures. Caulis longitudine digiti, articulis tribus constans. Folia caulis linearia, obtusiuscula, plana, obtusa, vel versus terram, ubi cespites constituunt, lanceolato-linearia. Calycis squamae exteriores longitudine tubi calycis; interiores dimidio breviores. Corolla magna. Petala calycis longitudine, rotundata, dentibus brevissimis numerosis crenata, fauce parum villosa.
