MATERIAL. Island opposite of Khabarovsk on Amur River , 21–22.VIII 1979, 13 ex.

(Nartshuk); Bolshekhekhzir Natural Reserve , 26.VIII 1979, 1 ex. (Nartshuk); Manoma, on

Juncus , 26.VIII 1973, 1 ex. (Elberg).

DISTRIBUTION. Holarctic species; in Palearctic known from British Islands to the

Russian Far East.

NOTES. Larvae develop in rotting stems of Eleocharis spp.
