Capnia pedestris Kimmins, 1947 View in CoL . Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist. 11(13): 731. Type locality: Tibet (Rongbuk Glacier, Everest base camp).

Diagnosis. Males of this species are defined by tergum 9 having two sclerotized humps posteriorly and the epiproct being blade–shaped in lateral view. Females of this species are defined by sternum 8 with a median membranous area flanked by two dark brown patches on each side ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 in Kimmins 1947; Figs. 596 – 598 in Zhiltzova 2003).
