Negative reactions are obtained for indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease and gelatinase in API 20NE. Does not utilize D- glucose, L- arabinose, D- mannose, D- mannitol, N -acetyl-glucosamine, D- maltose, potassium gluconate, capric acid, adipic acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid. Strain BDTF-R2 (= NIBRBAC000506392) was isolated from a tidal flat sample, Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea (37°12′23.8″N, 126°38′39.0″E) GoogleMaps .
