Type material of Hyposinga luzhongxiani (examined). Holotype ♁, (coll. no. DAP 3 a), CHINA: Hainan Island, Dapo , Dapo Vill., 25.III–9.IV.2011, leg. A. T. Barrion et al .; Allotype: ♀ (coll. no. DAP 3 b), same data as holotype . Paratypes: 1 ♁ 1 ♀ (coll. no. DAP 19 ), same data as holotype ; 1 ♁ 2 ♀ 3 juveniles (coll. no. DAP 3 c), same data as holotype ; 1 ♁ (coll. no. Description and diagnosis. See Yin et al. (1990) for a description and diagnosis of both sexes.

Distribution. China (Fujian, Hainan, Hunan).

Comments. The type material of H. luzhongxiani was examined and no differences between the females of H. alboria and H. luzhongxiani were observed. We therefore consider H. luzhongxiani syn. nov. to be a junior synonym of H. alboria .
