Type material of Clubiona batikanoides (examined). Holotype ♀ (coll. no. Ha2011-7), CHINA: Hainan Island, Haikou , 9.IV.2011, leg. A. T. Barrion et al.

Description and diagnosis. See Zhang et al. (2021) for illustrations of both sexes. The species is most similar to C. filoramula Zhang & Yin, 1998 ( Zhang et al. 2021).

Distribution. China (Fujian, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Taiwan and Hainan), Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand and Laos.

Comments. Clubiona filicata is a widespread Asian species that has been extensively redescribed ( World Spider Catalog 2023). The female holotype of C. batikanoides is consistent in genitalic morphology with C. filicata , so we consider C. batikanoides syn. nov. to be a junior synonym of C. filicata .
