Type material of Chrysso hejunhuai (examined). Holotype ♁ (coll. no. H72), CHINA: Hainan Island, Haikou , 21.IV.2012, leg. A. T. Barrion et al .; Paratypes: 2♁ (coll. no. H78, H79), same data as holotype.
Description and diagnosis. See Zhu (1998) for a redescription and diagnosis of the species.
Distribution. China (Fujian, Hunan, Guizhou, Taiwan and Hainan) and Thailand.
Comments. The type material of C. hejunhuai was studied and no differences in somatic or genitalic morphology between C. trimaculata and C. hejunhuai were observed. Therefore, C. hejunhuai syn. nov. is considered to be a junior synonym of C. trimaculata .
