Two syntypes are deposited in NMPC (general collection):

SYNTYPES (2 unsexed specimens mounted on a same pin): ‘Argent. Pampa / grande 2750 / IV. 22. Weiser [p, green label] // COTYPUS [p, pink label] // Weiseri Brh. / det. Bernh. [hw]’.

Current status. Junior subjective synonym of Stenus colonus Erichson, 1840 ; see PUTHZ (1974b) and HERMAN (2001b).
