SYNTYPES (1 ♂ 1 ♀, cards pinned on the same pin): ‘ SAÕ PAULO / BRAS. MRÁZ LGT. / MUS.PRAGENSE [p] // TYPUS [p, red label with black frame] // Megalopinus [p] / mrazi (Bck.) [hw] / det.V.Puthz 19 [p] 78 [hw] // Megalopinus / mrazi (L.Bck.) / det.Puthz 2011 [p]’.

SYNTYPES (2 ♂♂): ‘ SAÕ PAULO / BRAS. MRÁZ LGT. / MUS.PRAGENSE [p] // TYPUS [p, red label with black frame] // Megalopinus / mrazi (L.Bck.) / det.Puthz 2011 [p]’.

Current status. Megalopinus mrazi ( Benick, 1952) ; see HERMAN (2001b) and PUTHZ (2012b). Remark. PUTHZ (2012b: 733) mentioned a female holotype of M. mrazi , however the species was described from an unknown number of syntypes ( BENICK 1952: 64).
