HOLOTYPE (♂, dissected genitalia mounted on a separate plastic card): ‘ Japan 18.7.1956 / Sakajama [sic!] / Y.Icho [hw] // coll. / Hromádka [p] // Stenus [p] / sawadai / sp.n. [hw] / L.Hromádka det.19 [p] 79 [hw] // Holotypus [p, red label]’.

PARATYPE (♂, dissected genitalia mounted on a separate plastic card): ‘Hanase / Kyoto, Japan [p] / 20 VII [hw], 19 [p] 58 [hw] / Coll. Y.Ichō [p] // coll. / Hromádka [p] // Stenus [p] / sawadai / Hromádka [hw] / L.Hromádka det.19 [p] 78 [hw, blue label] // PARA- / TYPUS [p, red label]’.

PARATYPE (♀): ‘ Japan 20.8.1958 / Hanase / Y.Icho [hw] // coll. / Hromádka [p] // Stenus [p] / sawadai / Hromádka [hw] / L.Hromádka det.19 [p] 78 [hw, blue label] // PARA- / TYPUS [p, red label]’.
