Current status. Stenus (Hypostenus) reticulatus silvicola Bernhauer, 1922 ; see PUTHZ (1971c) and HERMAN (2001b).

Remark. The designation of lectotype was published by PUTHZ (1971c). Because there is no doubt about the authenticity of the specimen housed in NMPC, we consider it an additional paralectotype.
