SYNTYPES (1 ♂ 1 ♀): ‘ SAÕ PAULO / BRAS. MRÁZ LGT. / MUS.PRAGENSE [p] // Stenus [p] / pelidnus / L. BENICK [hw] / det.V.Puthz 196 [p] 7 [hw]’.

Current status. Junior subjective synonym of Stenus curtipennis Bernhauer, 1909 ; see PUTHZ (2014a).
