8. Notylia arachnitis Reichenbach (1859: 326) .
Type: — BOLIVIA. s. loc., s.d., T. C. Bridges s.n. (lectotype, designated here: K-L s.n!).
Notes: — Reichenbach (1859) described N. arachnitis without informing the holotype and the herbarium where it was deposited in the protologue. A sample collected by T. C. Bridges in 1846 in Bolivia was located in Lindley’s collection in the K herbarium. The sample has an indication of determination of the species in the lower left corner and information on the publication of the protologue and, for this reason, it is designated here as a lectotype.
