Materials examined. USA, Nevada: Clark County, Warm Springs , 19.VII.1990, R.W. Baumann (1 male, BYUC) ; Overton , 19.VII.1997, L.A. Hedquist (1 male, BYUC) ; Moapa Valley, Muddy Springs , 18.VIII.1997, Baumann and Huilett, lights (2 males, BYUC) ; Muddy River , 6.VIII.2000, Winkler and Waite (1 male, DALC) .

Remarks. This distinctive species is ecologically associated with desert riparian or similar habitats including isolated desert springs, agricultural and urban canals, and irrigation channels ( La Rue 1998). Young (1988) cited a single record of this species from Nevada: “Mesquite, Clark County,” which is adjacent to the Virgin River.
