Plectranthus subincisus Benth. in N.Wallich, Pl. Asiat. Rar. 2: 16. 1830. Type: India, Tamil Nadu: Courtallum, 1829, Wallich, Cat. No. 2737 (holotype: K (K000820179); isotype: K-W (K001116985)).

Distribution.

S. India, Sri Lanka. Occurrence in Sri Lanka is questionable and it is likely to be extinct there ( Cramer 1981).
