Type locality.
Columbretes Islands, Spain (western Mediterranean Sea).
Distribution.
East Atlantic (Canary Islands), Mediterranean Sea: WB, CB, AD, AS, LB. New record for the Israeli coast.
Habitat.
Until 145 m depth ( Çinar and Ergen 2003), on biogenic calcareous structures, among Posidonia oceanica rhizomes and photophilic algae.
