Type host: Sturnus vulgaris Linnaeus ( Passeriformes : Sturnidae ). Type locality: Poland.
Additional material. Four females (NPF) from Sturnus unicolor Temminck ( Passeriformes : Sturnidae ), MOROCCO: El-Jadida, Mazagan, 1950, coll. J. Gaud, all material in FMNH.
Host range and distribution. Oligoxenous species associated with the starlings of the genus Sturnus ( Passeriformes : Sturnidae ): S. vulgaris Linnaeus from Poland ( Skoracki et al. 2004), Slovakia and Moldova ( Skoracki 2011), S. cineraceus Temminck from Japan ( Skoracki 2011), and S. unicolor Temminck [new host] from Morocco (present paper).
