Picobia oritis Skoracki et al., 2009: 133 View in CoL , figs. 15–25; Klimovicova et al. 2014: 258. Types deposited in AMU, RMCA and ZISP, examined.

Type host: Cyanomitra oritis (Reichenow) ( Passeriformes : Nectariniidae ). Type locality: Cameroon.

Additional material. One female (PF) from Cinnyris chalybeus (Linnaeus) ( Passeriformes : Nectariniidae ), SOUTH AFRICA: 20 August 1955, coll. F. J. R. Junor, specimen in FMNH.

Host range and distribution. Stenoxenous species associated with the sunbirds ( Passeriformes : Nectariniidae ): Cinnyris chalybeus (Linnaeus) [new host] from South Africa (present paper), C. erythrocercus (Hartlaub) from Uganda, C. talatala Smith from Botswana and Zambia, C. oustaleti (Bocage) from Angola, C. venustus (Shaw) from Somalia ( Klimovicova et al. 2014), Cyanomitra olivacea (Smith) from Kenya ( Skoracki et al. 2011), and C. oritis (Reichenow) from Cameroon ( Skoracki et al. 2009).
